Alaves and Atlético Madrid drew 0-0 in LaLiga, a completed match in which neither team scored. The official result stayed blank at Estadio de Mendizorroza from kickoff to the final whistle.
Match Summary
Alaves hosted Atlético Madrid and the afternoon never left 0-0. No goal arrived in the opening spell, and none arrived after the interval either. Because the goals record is complete and empty, there is no scorer to name and no strike to hang the recap on. The official scoreline is the whole story of the play.
That produced a simple pattern rather than a chase. Alaves did not go in front on home ground. Atlético Madrid did not take the lead as the visiting side. There was no comeback to describe, and no late twist on the scoresheet, because the score never moved.
Absences were part of the verified picture. Alaves were without F. Garces through suspension, while V. Koski missed out with a muscle injury and M. Rodriguez was out with an ankle injury. Atlético Madrid listed R. Mendoza as inactive and O. Vargas as inactive.
