Alaves defeated Osasuna 5-2 in LaLiga, with Lucas Boyé scoring a hat-trick as the hosts twice restored their cushion after Ante Budimir pulled the visitors back into the match. The contest at Estadio Mendizorrotza ended with a late fifth goal, as shown on the Alaves vs Osasuna live score.

Match Summary

Alaves needed most of the first half to break through, then struck twice before the interval. Lucas Boyé opened the scoring after 27 minutes, Mariano Díaz providing the assist, and Díaz added the second nine minutes later from an Antonio Sivera pass. Osasuna went into the break two down.

The visitors responded at the start of the second half. Ante Budimir scored in the 46th minute, with Moi Gómez the provider, only for Boyé to restore the two-goal cushion five minutes later after a pass from Carles Aleñá. When Budimir converted a penalty in the 64th minute, Osasuna were within a goal again. Alaves did not let the game slip. Boyé completed his hat-trick four minutes later, Angel Pérez Hidalgo the assist, and Pablo Ibanez Lumbreras scored in the 90th minute, Hidalgo creating that one as well.

Key Moments

The hat-trick from Boyé was the match's spine. Whenever Osasuna found a way back, he restored the gap before the visitors could build real momentum.

Budimir's penalty after the hour was Osasuna's clearest path to a draw, shrinking a two-goal deficit to one. Alaves still finished the stronger side, adding two further goals once that chance had come and gone, including a late fifth that ended the argument.

Match Statistics

Possession was nearly even, Osasuna holding 51 percent to Alaves' 49, but the shot count told a different story. Alaves attempted 12 shots and put seven on target, against seven shots and five on target for Osasuna. The hosts also won four corners to one. Osasuna collected two yellow cards and Alaves one, with no red cards shown.

What the Result Means

Alaves sit fifth in La Liga with seven points from three matches and a goal difference of plus four. Osasuna are sixth, also on seven points from three games, two goals to the good. The sides are level on points, and each has two wins and one draw across their last three matches.
