Key Moments

The first goal was the swing that mattered. Bahia BA had kept a clean sheet for 64 minutes. What followed was a burst rather than a long siege. Three goals in 14 minutes turned a blank match into a 0-3 deficit the home side never reduced.

Shot volume explains why that lead held. Flamengo RJ put 15 shots on target. Bahia BA managed three. After the first goal, the recorded chances left little path to a reply.

Match Statistics

Flamengo RJ finished with 21 shots to Bahia BA's 9 and 15 on target to 3. Expected goals were 2.73 for the visitors and 0.83 for the home side. Corners went 14 to 4 in Flamengo RJ's favour. Yellow cards were 4 for Bahia BA and 2 for Flamengo RJ. There were no red cards. Those figures match a night when the visitors created more, waited, then scored three times without reply.
