Club Atletico Tucuman and CA Belgrano played out a 0-0 draw in the Liga Profesional. Belgrano kept most of the ball, Tucuman took more shots, and the night never produced a goal.

Match Summary

The first half at Estadio Monumental Jose Fierro stayed locked. CA Belgrano worked the ball through midfield for long stretches while Club Atletico Tucuman looked for quicker routes forward. Nothing went in. R. Hernandes was shown a yellow card in the 45th minute, and S. Martinez sent both teams in still goalless.

After the break the pattern held. F. Vazquez was booked in the 57th minute as Belgrano continued to see more of the play. Tucuman kept shooting more often, but nothing changed the scoreboard. N. Lamendola was cautioned in the 80th minute and A. J. Benitez Cabrera in the 83rd. The official result stayed 0-0.

Key Moments

The booking for R. Hernandes just before half-time set the tone for a second half Belgrano had to control without overcommitting, because the score was still blank.

The visitors' hold on possession never became a goal. That is the swing that failed to arrive, and it kept Club Atletico Tucuman alive even though they had only 37 percent of the ball.

Tucuman's extra shots and corners never turned clinical. Two efforts on target from 15 attempts, plus late yellows for N. Lamendola and A. J. Benitez Cabrera, explain why a winner never came.
