SK Brann came from behind to beat Lincoln Red Imps FC 2-1 in the Liga Conferência after both teams were reduced to 10 men. The home side trailed around the hour, leveled soon after, and scored again late, with match data listing no scorer for the winner.

Match Summary

For a long spell this was a match defined by cards rather than goals. SK Brann were shown a yellow in the sixth minute, still with 11 players on the pitch. The night changed in the 23rd minute, when Neraysho Kasanwirjo received a red card. From that point the home side had to manage more than an hour a player short, and the first half closed without a goal.

Lincoln Red Imps FC found the breakthrough after the restart. Sebastian Cardozo was booked in the 56th minute, and Kike Gómez scored in the 59th to put the visitors in front. The extra-man edge did not last. Cardozo was sent off in the 61st minute, leaving both teams with 10 players.

SK Brann answered in the 64th minute through Niklas Castro, restoring parity. Castro was cautioned in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute SK Brann scored again. The scorer was not listed in match data. That strike produced the official 2-1 result.

Key Moments

The sending-off of Neraysho Kasanwirjo was the first swing that mattered. SK Brann had to chase the result without a full side, so any concession after the break would leave them hunting a goal a man down.

Sebastian Cardozo's red card, only two minutes after Lincoln Red Imps FC had gone ahead, was the second. Numerical parity returned, and SK Brann could push numbers forward instead of protecting a deficit.

The third swing was the late finish once the scores were level. SK Brann's 81st-minute goal, with no scorer listed in match data, turned a heavy shot and expected-goals advantage into the 2-1 win.

Match Statistics

The attacking numbers sat with SK Brann. They took 14 shots to 7 and put 8 on target against 3. Expected goals finished 2.13 to 0.19, in line with a 17-2 corner count. Discipline was messy on both sides. SK Brann collected 2 yellow cards and 1 red. Lincoln Red Imps FC collected 1 yellow and 1 red.
